John Cleworth

An Australian-born, John has for nearly a decade been studying and working in London, Berlin, and now Copenhagen. From a very early age, he developed an appreciation for music and quality of sound, subsequently studying drum set, taiko (Japanese drums), percussion, piano, harmony, counterpoint and composition. His upbringing and formal training has led to his development of a broad knowledge and deep understanding of music.

Other than his work as a composer, also works in the field of classical recording and the world of innovative recording techniques, including Immersive Audio, Ambisonics and Dolby Atmos. One of the many projects involving Immersive Audio is his own composition “A Collage Of Synthesis” for 48-speaker multichannel system – a collage and experimentation in synthesis across multichannel audio.
