Alert Sound

A notification sound is a sound played upon delivery of a notification from a smartphone, tablet, car, or other devices, indicating that the user has one or more messages, activity alerts, updates to apps, etc.

Besides functioning as the sound alert of notification, the notification sound can serve as a memorable link to the app or brand. Therefore, it is essential to ensure that the sound is meaningful and pleasing to the ears; otherwise, the user will just switch it off (if possible). At the same time, the notification sound cannot be so soft that the user is not able to hear it.
